Dala - Master Recordings

Strathan Music are honoured to have been appointed by the award-winning Canadian group, Dala, to seek out opportunities for their master recording catalogue throughout the world including the stunning 'Horses' from their critically acclaimed album 'Everyone is Someone'.

The duo have released four studio albums to date with their fifth, 'Best Day', due for release in North America in June 2012.

'Offelini' featured in Fiat Car Advert

Car giant, Fiat, has chosen to use Thomas Otten's 'Offelini' in an advert promoting the launch of their new Panda. It features film footage of the car being built at their recently modernised manufacturing plant in Pomigliano d'Arco, Italy. It is being shown at various car trade fairs and conventions in Europe, on the web and various other outlets in 2012. The advert can be viewed on YouTube, http://youtu.be/4MdWXbuLuCo, or the Thomas Otten official video page.

'Open Wings' and 'Espiritu' chosen for Warner Music compilation album

Warner Music has chosen both songs for inclusion on a compilation called 'Essential Voyage' which has just been released in Malaysia. The double CD also features many other artists including Adiemus, Sarah Brightman, Enigma, Craig Armstrong, Deep Forest and Michael Nyman. The album is currently only available in Malaysia.

'Espiritu' Included on Film Documentary Soundtrack

We are pleased to announce that Thomas Otten's version of 'Espiritu' has been chosen for the soundtrack of 'The Other Side of Silence'. It can be heard on the final scene and end credits.

The film is written and directed by Pulitzer Prize nominee Claudia Johnson and investigates the shocking true story of Ruby McCollum, a well educated African American woman, who was convicted of murdering Dr LeRoy Adams in Florida in 1952.

At present the film is being submitted to various film festivals. More information can be found on The Other Side of Silence website.
