About Frédéric Momont

Frédéric Momont is an established composer and producer and his songs have appeared on a variety of albums including several on the Cafe Del Mar series. He currently lives in northern France.

He wrote the lyrics for Si Un Jour, composed by Craig Leon, which was recorded by Natasha Marsh and released on her Amour album by EMI in 2007.

Italian soprano Giorgia Fumanti has recorded a cover version of Frédéric’s song, Espiritu, which appears on her album From My Heart also released by EMI in 2007.

Frédéric has also written for various other artists including Marc Lavoine and Étienne Daho.

However he is probably best known for the work he has done with Thomas Otten. He composed and produced Thomas’s two albums, Close To Silence and Portraits both of which were released on the Virgin Music record label. Combined CD sales were in excess of 130,000 copies. 2011 sees the release of his latest creation - 'The Two Voices'. This beautiful album features his compositions and arrangements and the vocal performances of Stéphanie Arcadias and Thomas Otten.
