Processing of Licensing Requests

This can take from one day to several weeks. If your deadline is short we will endeavour to fast track your request.

Approval of Licensing Request

Any 'in principle' approval will be subject to completion of a formal licensing agreement. The license will only be valid once the agreement is signed and any agreed fee/royalty is paid.

Denial of Licensing Request

We reserve the absolute right to deny any request without giving any reason.

Licensing Fees and Royalties

Licensing fees depend on the type of use, territory, media required, length of license, etc. We do not grant free or subsidised licenses. If you want to keep your 'up front' costs down we recommend you only ask for the rights you really need.

Clearance of Third Party Rights

We only grant licenses for the copyrights we control. It is your responsibility to obtain licenses from all other copyright owners.
